WALKING ON SUNSHINE
Just in time for summer indulgence, LaClare Creamery expanded its fresh goat cheese line with a citrusy-sweet twist: Lemon Bar Goat Cheese. This flavor earned second place at the 2025 Wisconsin State Fair Dairy Products Contest, the Malone, Wis.-based company says. Crafted with LaClare’s award-winning Original Goat Cheese as its base, this gluten-free, sunshine-inspired chèvre combines vibrant lemon and smooth vanilla to deliver a creamy indulgence perfect for warm-weather dishes and desserts, the company states.
MAKING MEMORIES WITH THE JONAS BROTHERS
Friendly's Ice Cream, a brand of Dairy Farmers of America, teamed up with pop superstars the Jonas Brothers for the band's 20th Anniversary Flavor, which combines Coffee Cookie Crumble (Kevin’s favorite), Chocolate Marshmallow Swirl (Joe’s favorite), and Vanilla (Nick’s favorite), all side by side in a 48-ounce tub. The brothers selected each flavor to create a unique blend fans can enjoy individually or together. The collaboration reflects a long-standing relationship between the brand and the Jonas Brothers, who grew up in New Jersey, and often visited the ice cream shop. In 2023, they helped the brand launch limited-edition sundaes, and now they’re celebrating 20 years making music with the limited-edition ice cream.

ICY, BOOZY REFRESHMENT
Created in partnership with Emmy Award-winning chef, author, and TV personality Giada De Laurentiis, Italian beer brand Peroni Nastro Azzurro unveiled Peroni Italian Beer Ice. Produced by Tipsy Scoop, the product contains 5% alcohol by volume and combines a traditional lemon Italian ice with hints of citrus and Italy’s most beloved beer, Molson Coors Beverage Co. says. “Italian ice has always held a special place in my heart. It's my favorite summer treat, and when you add a Peroni to the mix, I feel like I'm back in Italy,” De Laurentiis said.
TIKTOK STAR BRINGS THE SPICE
After sending spice-loving foodies into a frenzy last year when Nestlé Carnation Evaporated Milk was revealed to be the secret ingredient to TikTok sensation Tini Younger’s viral mac and cheese (which has more than 130 million views), Carnation Kickin’ Jalapeño Flavored Evaporated Milk has returned for nationwide purchase. The Arlington, Va.-based Nestlé USA notes its first-ever flavor innovation brings a creamy, bold kick in any recipe. The limited-edition spicy evaporated milk is available online at Walmart, and starting in September, will be on-shelf exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $1.84 for a 12-ounce can.
A BURST OF SUMMER NOSTALGIA
Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream's new summer collection, "Super Fun Times," is inspired by the feeling that only summer can evoke. With nostalgic delights like Pink Bubble Gum and Toasted S'mores, Jeni's latest releases also capture the bliss of summertime with six limited-edition flavors, the company says. Other limited-time flavors available online and in Jeni’s 66 scoop shops in 10 cities are Root Beer Float, Strawberry Pretzel Pie, Watermelon Taffy and Popcorn Brittle. In addition to these summer-inspired flavors, the Columbus, Ohio-based company also unveiled its new Sundae Fudge Sauce, a velvety chocolate sauce that, just like their Buttercrisp Waffle Cone, is made to specially pair with ice cream since it provides a sharp contrast to cool ice cream.

CLEAN-LABEL SUMMER SNACKING
Scott’s Protein Balls is expanding its lineup with two new flavors: Cinnamon Almond Butter and Chocolate Peanut Latte. A mission-driven brand founded by Lori and Scott Levine, Scott started making protein balls for his wife Lori during her breast cancer recovery in 2017, creating clean, energizing snacks that were crafted with purpose and packed with plant-based protein. The new flavors deliver the indulgent taste of one’s favorite comfort foods with the clean-label integrity Scott’s is known for — gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and made without preservatives, the company states. Scott’s Protein Balls are available online and in hundreds of stores across the New York Tri-State area.
COMBINING SWEET AND HEAT
Vermont Creamery, an independently operated subsidiary of farmer-owned Land O’Lakes Inc., unveiled its newest artisanal goat cheese flavor: Maple Chipotle Goat Cheese. The new flavor brings together the warmth of smoked chipotle with the rich, familiar sweetness of Vermont maple sugar, the Websterville, Vt.-based creamery says. This latest addition is a bold, balanced flavor built from real ingredients and culinary curiosity. The sweetness in the recipe comes from maple sugar sourced from Butternut Mountain Farm. Crafted with the creamery’s signature fresh goat cheese, the 4-ounce log is available to retail and specialty customers. The product features simple packaging that mirrors the creamery’s quietly bold identity: rooted in Vermont, consciously crafted, and always in pursuit of great taste.
MELTY MOZZARELLA
Borden Cheese, a division of Dairy Farmers of America, announced it has added mozzarella to its Melts line as its great taste and ooey gooey texture pairs well on family favorites like cheeseburgers and grilled cheese, the company says. Borden Cheese Mozzarella Melts joins existing classics in the line such as American, extra sharp cheddar and pepper jack. Mozzarella Melts are made with real cream, designed to deliver a better melt with great taste. All the varieties in the Melts line come in a 12-ounce package with 16 individually wrapped slices designed to appeal to consumers looking for simple ways to "plus up" meals, the company says.
