Reddi-wip, a brand of Chicago-based Conagra Brands, released keto-friendly Reddi-wip Zero Sugar whipped topping. It is made with real cream and contains 0 grams of sugar, 0 grams of carbs and 15 calories per serving. It also has no artificial flavors and is gluten-free. Reddi-wip Zero Sugar delivers the same great taste of Reddi-wip but with sucralose in place of regular sugar to maintain the sweet, real cream taste, the brand says. The offering is now available in the dairy aisles of U.S. retailers, as well as online. It is packaged in both 6.5-ounce and 13-ounce sizes, with suggested retail prices of $2.99-$3.29 and $4.79-$5.29, respectively.
Mitchelstown, Ireland-based Dairygold debuted Pastureland — its first-ever cheese brand retailing in the United States. Pastureland Irish cheddar cheeses will be introduced throughout the United States, beginning with extra sharp Irish cheddar and aged creamy Irish cheddar. The cheeses will be distributed in the United States by specialty cheese supplier Norseland Inc., Darien, Conn. Pastureland will be available on U.S. shelves in 7-ounce portions with a suggested retail price of $6.99 per unit. Dairygold says Pastureland aged creamy Irish cheddar is smooth and full-flavored, with satisfying, subtle hints of caramel sweetness and nutty tones; Pastureland extra sharp Irish cheddar is hand-selected for a bold, rich and tangy flavor — plus the perfect hint of sweetness.
Chobani LLC released a limited-edition shake featuring Peloton instructor and fitness star Cody Rigsby. The Chobani Complete shake Cody Rigsby Edition has 25 grams of high-quality protein with all the essential amino acids needed for building muscle — making it a functional and delicious pre-and post-workout snack for everyday athletes and fitness professionals, Chobani says. The product is easy to digest and offers up to 25 grams of complete protein and 3 grams of fiber; it contains no added sugar and no lactose.
Parmalat S.p.A., Collecchio, Italy, says it released a cream spread set to carve out a new category in the Hispanic dairy market. Nata crema para desayuno (Nata breakfast cream) is a delicious, naturally sweet clotted cream made with real California whole milk. Popular in Mexico and Latin America, the spread is the perfect complement for breakfast or a cravable snack. It can be spread on toast topped with honey, put on a spoonful of fruit or mixed into a dessert. Parmalat Nata breakfast cream is certified kosher and halal and made with rBST-free fresh California whole milk. The offering is now available at select grocery retailers in Southern California and Chicago at a suggested retail price of $3.99 for a 12-ounce tub.
Boursin, a brand of Chicago-based Bel Brands USA, announced its newest seasonal cheese variety, Caramelized Onion & Herbs. According to Boursin, the offering is bursting with flavor to perfectly pair with autumnal foods or to serve as the center of a cheeseboard. Boursin Caramelized Onion & Herbs' recipe is a creamy, yet crumbly blend of real cheese, onions and savory herbs. The seasonal product is available in the deli section of major retail stores nationwide, including Hy-Vee, Schnucks, Albertsons, Publix, Jewel-Osco and more, through the holidays. It has a suggested retail price of $5.99.
Perry’s Ice Cream Company Inc., Akron, N.Y., says it is bringing back its Zero Visibility flavor for a limited time. The variety, available in a 1.5-quart container, is coconut rum ice cream with shredded coconut pieces. Since its debut in 1997, Perry’s has rereleased the flavor every five years as a limited edition. Perry’s says Zero Visibility’s packaging stands out against the company’s signature black by featuring a “whiteout” look and a special message to consumers: “Just one spoonful of this snowy coconut blend with a hint of rum will warm your bones after shoveling out your neighbor.” The flavor is now available at retailers throughout Upstate New York and Western Pennsylvania; it has a suggested retail price of $6.99.
Ruby Jewel, Portland, Ore., brought back its seasonal ice cream sandwich flavors: Pumpkin Ginger and Peppermint Chocolate. Reminiscent of short fall days and crisp leaves, the Ruby Jewel Pumpkin Ginger ice cream sandwich is real pumpkin ice cream sandwiched between two ginger cookies. The new and improved wintertime classic, the Ruby Jewel Peppermint Chocolate ice cream sandwich, features all-natural peppermint ice cream sandwiched between two peppermint double chocolate cookies. The cookies are baked with real peppermint candy pieces for a truly indulgent seasonal experience, Ruby Jewel says.
Mars Wrigley, Newark, N.J., added M&M'S ice cream Holiday Fun Cups. The offerings are filled with vanilla-flavored ice cream and a chocolate swirl and are mixed with plenty of festive red and green M&M’S Minis. Mars Wrigley says M&M'S ice cream Holiday Fun Cups began rolling out in October 2021 at retailers nationwide in packs of 10. The treats join the current M&M'S ice cream portfolio, which includes M&M'S ice cream cones, M&M'S ice cream Fun Cups and M&M'S ice cream cookie sandwiches.
Phoenix-based Shamrock Farms says it is jump-starting the holiday season by introducing eggnog inspired by fall and holiday flavors.
