Lifeway Foods, Morton Grove, Ill., announced its third quarter results and sales of $46.1 million, an increase of 12.7% over the prior year ending September 30, 2023. This marks the 20th consecutive quarter of net sales growth, marking an impressive five consecutive years' worth of quarterly growth for Lifeway on the topline, said Julie Smolyansky, President and CEO of Lifeway Foods.

California Dairies Inc. (CDI) has ceased operations at its Los Banos, Calif., manufacturing facility, which has affected 38 employees. “Closing the Los Banos plant was a difficult decision, one that was not made lightly,” said Brad Anderson, President and CEO. “This decision was driven by the evolving dynamics of the marketplace and shifting milk supplies.” The Los Banos manufacturing facility had been in operation since 1925, and CDI will continue to have a significant presence in California, throughout the U.S., and internationally.
