SSV Series Drum Motors are engineered for food processing and handling belt conveyor applications. With 80,000 hours of continuous operation before maintenance and no external drive components, the SSV Drum Motor promotes operator safety, reduces operational costs, and increases throughput. It features an IP69K-rated sealing system and withstands pressure washdown up to 3,000 psi.

For modular, wire mesh, and monolithic thermoplastic conveyor belts, the SSV Drum Motor has the belt profile machined directly onto the drum to drive the belt without the use of sprockets. The new SSV-XP Drum Motor design has the belt profile machined directly onto the drive sleeve, offering processors the flexibility to use the same drum motor when switching to another belt for a different type of food processing. The square shaft and sprockets used with traditional external conveyor drives have gaps and crevices where byproducts accumulate, become trapped, and harbor bacteria.
