The Bartovation SCC Cow's Milk Test Kit from Nelson-Jameson is specifically designed for screening subclinical mastitis and monitoring milk quality. This test offers a more cost-effective solution compared to lab testing and electronic meters. It can be performed at any time without the need for laboratory assistance. Each test takes just one minute to complete, with results available in 15 minutes, the company says. The kit provides objective results with laboratory-level consistency and can be used with both quarter and composite milk samples, it adds. The test kit has a range of 100-800 somatic cell counts in increments of 100, 200, 400 and 800.
