Maola Local Dairies launched Maola More, a new line of ultrafiltered milks delivering high protein, lower sugar, lactose-free nutrition, and added prebiotic fiber for gut health benefits — all in a half-gallon format. Available in Whole White and 2% Reduced Fat Chocolate, Maola More is packed with 15 grams of protein per 8-ounce serving, providing nearly 90% more protein than traditional milk, while keeping sugar low at 5 to 8 grams per serving, depending on variety. The Herndon, Va.-based company notes that each product contains prebiotic fiber to support digestive health and is lactose free. Available in 64-ounce half gallon cartons, Maola More is available at Walmart and Target for a suggested retail price of $4 to $5. Extensions of the product line is expected by Q4.

SNICKERS Ice Cream, a brand of Mars Ice Cream, teamed up with Tennessee Titans wide receiver Carnell Tate to help die-hard fans and sports analysts alike keep it cool in more ways than one. Tate joined forces with SNICKERS Ice Cream to release a limited batch of special edition "Chill" ice cream bars, including the new Crunchy Peanut Butter flavor and SNICKERS Ice Cream Original. On the first night of the NFL Draft (April 23), Tate also debuted a custom-designed SNICKERS Ice Cream Chill Chain crafted in solid gold and set with 285 lab-grown rubies, sapphires, and diamonds. Designed to deliver “seriously satisfying flavors,” Chill Bar 6-packs are available while supplies last.

Perfect for cooking and baking applications, while delivering 50% less saturated fat than dairy butter (Spread) and 25% less saturated fat than dairy butter (Salted Sticks), the new buttery blend is crafted with 8% fresh cream and no hydrogenated oils to deliver an ultra-smooth, luxuriously thick texture and mild buttery flavor, the company says. The Extra Creamy products, the latest evolution in the brand’s "Next Level Better" platform, builds on the brand’s recent NutriRich launch and continued partnership with world-renowned chef Gordon Ramsay. TURNING ICONIC CANDY INTO A FROZEN TREAT

Bringing candy bar texture to real ice cream, Wells Enterprises and Ferrero North America launched Butterfinger Ice Cream Candy Bar, Baby Ruth Ice Cream Candy Bar and 100 Grand Ice Cream Candy Bar nationwide. Each frozen bar was engineered from the inside out, starting with the texture that made those candies iconic and building up from there, the companies say. Butterfinger Ice Cream Candy Bar, Baby Ruth Ice Cream Candy Bar, and 100 Grand Ice Cream Candy Bar are available in the frozen treat aisle at retailers nationwide. Each flavor is sold in a pack of six at a suggested retail price of $5.99.

CRAVEABLE CHEESY DELICIOUSNESS

Dr. Praeger's expanded its growing snacking platform with the launch of Mac & Cheese Stars. The new variety combines real cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, tender macaroni and a crispy golden coating for the perfect bite. Crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, these star-shaped snacks deliver rich cheesy flavor and cook up in minutes in the air fryer or oven. Made with vegetables including cauliflower, butternut squash, and carrots, each serving delivers 5 grams of protein and 3 grams of fiber, the Elmwood Park, N.J.-based company says. HERE’S TO CROSS-CATEGORY INNOVATION

Alpenliebe, a brand under Perfetti Van Melle, announced a strategic partnership with Meilun, a mid-to-premium ice cream company in China, to launch the “Alpenliebe × Meilun” ice cream series. Inspired by Alpenliebe’s iconic swirl design and candy elements from the “Fruit Chewy” series, the range in the new ice cream series includes seven product lines with diverse formats and textures. The collaboration also represents an important step in Alpenliebe’s localization strategy enabling it to explore new brand experiences beyond candy and gain valuable experience for future cross-category expansion.

SMOKY DIP BRINGS THE HEAT

La Terra Fina is expanding its Dip & Spread lineup with the launch of a limited-time Chipotle Ranch Dip & Spread. Designed for versatile snacking and entertaining, the new flavor combines smoky chipotle peppers, Greek yogurt, and classic ranch flavors for a spicy twist on a familiar favorite. Each 10-ounce tub contains no artificial flavors, colors, or preservatives and has just 60 calories per serving, the Union City, Calif.-based company says. The limited-time Chipotle Ranch Dip & Spread is available exclusively at Kroger locations nationwide for a suggested retail price of $5.49.

A MEANINGFUL EVOLUTION IN DAIRY PROTEIN

Dairy Farmers of America (DFA) introduced MULU cottage cheese, offering 18 grams of complete protein per half-cup serving. The new product combines whey and casein, offering immediate amino acid availability along with longer-lasting protein delivery, the Kansas City, Kan.-based company says. The dual-action profile is purpose-built to help with performance, muscle recovery, satiety and sustained energy. MULU contains just 100 calories per serving for the low-fat (2%) variety, 120 calories for the whole (4%) variety, and less than 1 gram of sugar, the company says. MULU is available at Walmart stores nationwide for a suggested retail price of $4.26 for a 16-ounce carton.
