SINGLE-SERVE CHEESECAKES

Jar Joy, Sanford, Fla., says it introduced an innovative line of multi-layered cheesecakes. The desserts are made from scratch with premium, all-natural ingredients and conveniently packaged in individually portioned jars. Jar Joy says it uses premium ingredients such as Dutch cocoa, real butter, whole milk, real fruit preserves and all-natural flavorings to create the cheesecakes. The offerings come in flavors that include Summer Strawberry, White Chocolate Raspberry and Cookies n’ Cream. The company also offers three cake-inspired cheesecake flavors: Birthday Cake, Death by Chocolate and Red Velvet. Perfect for people on the go, Jar Joy desserts are portable, stackable and ready anytime — with no requirement for baking or additional preparation.

NOSTALGIC ICE CREAM FLAVORS

Ben & Jerry's, Burlington, Vt., says it added two new flavors to its Topped line: Topped Chocolate Milk & Cookies and Topped Dirt Cake. Topped Chocolate Milk & Cookies is chocolate ice cream with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate cookie swirls topped with milk chocolatey ganache and fudge chips. Topped Dirt Cake is vanilla pudding ice cream with chocolate sandwich cookies and chocolate cookie swirls topped with milk chocolatey ganache and chocolate cookie crumble. The new flavors join the super popular Topped line, introduced a year ago, which features a fudgy ganache layer across the top of every pint of ice cream. Topped Chocolate Milk & Cookies and Topped Dirt Cake will appear on shelves across the country in the first quarter of 2022 at a suggested retail price of $4.99-5.49.

WHIMSICAL CREAMER FLAVORS

International Delight — a brand of Broomfield, Colo.- and West Plains, N.Y.-based Danone North America — says it launched Wonka Whipple Scrumptious Fudgy Caramel creamers in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. International Delight also is bringing the magic of Willy Wonka in a zero-sugar offering — delivering on the number one thing sugar-free coffee creamer drinkers always look for: more flavor variety. The Wonka Whipple Scrumptious Fudgy Caramel Creamers are available now for a limited time at major retailers nationwide in 32-ounces bottles. They have a suggested retail price of $3.79.

IMPORTED ITALIAN CHEESES

Stella Cheese, a brand of Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Saputo Dairy USA, says it is going back to its roots to reintroduce two beloved classics that have stood the test of time: PDO-certified Parmigiano Reggiano and Grana Padano cheeses imported from Northern Italy. The new Stella import collection includes the Stella Parmigiano Reggiano wedge and shredded cup. The cheese is aged an extra 10 months to allow for increased flavor development during the maturation process; it is characterized by its rich flavor and compact, granular texture, Stella says. Stella Grana Padano wedge is aged an extra five months to give the cheese “medium seasoning.” Its mellow and nutty taste will complement other flavors well, Stella says.

LIGHT ICE CREAM FLAVORS

N!ck's, Los Angeles, says it released six light ice cream pints that prove there is no need for sacrifices when it comes to healthy eating. The indulgent new flavors will feature even more tasty inclusions with fewer net carbs, no added sugar and 260-420 calories per pint. Selections include Rocky Fjord, Campfire S'mörgs, Swedish Munchies, Raspbär Swirl, Hazelnöt Kram and Strawbär Cheesecake.

LIMITED-TIME BUTTER VARIETIES

Minerva Dairy, Minerva, Ohio, released two limited-edition flavors available exclusively through Goldbelly for nationwide shipping and at Kishman’s IGA, located a brief walk from the Minerva Dairy Creamery in Northeast Ohio. According to the company, Everything Bagel butter — a savory blend of sea salt, minced onions and garlic, black and white sesame seeds, and poppy seeds — is a creamy, delicious reminder of breakfast. Lemon Poppy Seed butter, with a touch of lemon sweetness and the nutty flavor of poppy seeds, is a versatile ingredient in the kitchen.

YOGURT ALTERNATIVES WITH BOTANICAL EXTRACTS

So Delicious Dairy Free, a brand of Broomfield, Colo.- and White Plains, N.Y.-based Danone North America, says it introduced a new line of “coconutmilk” yogurt alternatives with botanical extracts. The line includes Strawberry with Elderberry Extract, Mango with Ginger and Turmeric Extracts, and Mixed Berry with Chamomile Extract varieties. All flavors are made with organic coconut, boast 7 to 8 grams of sugar, and contain no artificial sweeteners or preservatives. The yogurt alternatives with botanicals extracts have a suggested retail price of $1.99 for a single-serve cup; they are now available at Whole Foods Market and Sprouts Farmer’s Market.
