Unilever Ice Cream is bringing 10 new products to grocery story freezers with flavors that range from fruity and nutty to rich and decadent. Available nationwide since January, Breyers Pistachio Almond is a combination of creamy and indulgent, packed with fresh cream and roasted almonds. Additionally, Breyers CarbSmart Caramel Bars are new to the fast-growing CarbSmart line, with rich flavor and a heavenly caramel swirl, yet only 4 grams of carbs per bar. Breyers Pistachio Almond is available for a suggested retail price of $5.89 for a 48-ounce carton, while a six-count box of CarbSmart Bars retails for $5.29. Talenti also is adding to its lineup with tangy dairy-free sorbetto in Summer Strawberry Sorbetto and Mini Sorbetto Bars made with real strawberries and a hint of lemon and Zesty Lemon Sorbetto and Mini Sorbetto Bars crafted with real lemon juice and zest. Talenti pints are available for a suggested retail price of $5.49 and a 6-count of bars are available for $5.79 at Target and other retailers.

Kraft Singles is launching three new flavors for the first time in nearly a decade: Jalapeño, Garlic & Herb, and Caramelized Onion. “Garlic & Herb and Caramelized Onion set a new standard as brand-new flavors to the cheese category. As the top-selling sandwich cheese brand, with one in four American households having Kraft Singles in their refrigerator, fans of the iconic brand can now expand their taste buds with these new additions to the Kraft Singles portfolio,” the Chicago-based KraftHeinz company stated. The new flavors will elevate any ordinary sandwich into irresistible culinary delights, the company states. For instance, a ham-and-cheese panini featuring Caramelized Onion Singles, a bold steak sandwich with the zing of Jalapeño Singles, or a savory chicken parmesan masterpiece enhanced by the aromatic Garlic &Herbs Singles, the company added. “These innovations evolve the processed cheese category and solidifies the brand as the go-to leader in American cheese.” The new flavors are available in packs of 16 slices at retailers nationwide.

PACKED WITH PROTEIN

Yoplait Protein, a brand of General Mills, gives people who love the taste of traditional yogurt a convenient way to meet their protein goals, while enjoying their favorite Yoplait flavors like Vanilla, Strawberry and Key Lime Pie, the company said. Each 5.6-ounce single-serve cup of Yoplait Protein packs 15 grams of protein and 3 grams of sugar per serving, making it the brand’s highest protein and lowest sugar offering to date. Yoplait Protein flavors are available in Vanilla, Strawberry, Mixed Berry, Strawberry Banana, Peach, Cherry, Strawberry Cheesecake and Key Lime Pie. The 100-calorie Yoplait Protein is available for a suggested retail price of $1.19 for a single-serve cup and $3.39 for a multi-serve 1-pound, 14-ounce tub.

A SINGULAR SMOOTHIE SENSATION

Häagen-Dazs Shops announced the return of five Real Fruit Smoothie flavors, which are available for a limited time in shops nationwide. Each smoothie features Häagen-Dazs signature sorbet flavors blended with vanilla ice cream and fruit. For a non-dairy alternative, an extra scoop of sorbet can be added in place of ice cream upon request, the company says. The returning Real Fruit Smoothies feature five smoothie flavors and the most extensive lineup of the brand's dessert offerings, including Aloha Mango, Strawberry Banana, Wildberry, Pomegranate Berry, and its latest flavor, Strawberry Mango. “We’re excited to bring back this fan-favorite dessert lineup to kick off the new year,” said Rachel Jaiven, Häagen-Dazs' marketing director. “When it comes to dessert, Häagen-Dazs Shops offer a unique experience that incorporates real fruit into a dessert you can feel good about indulging in. Organic Valley expanded its fluid milk portfolio with Organic Valley Family First. The new Organic Valley Family First milk uses milk from pasture-raised cows and has all the goodness of the standard 12 essential nutrients in Organic Valley milks, with added DHA Omega 3 to support brain health, the company states. “Our new Organic Valley Family First milk tastes just as fresh and delicious as our other organic milks, with the added benefits of DHA Omega 3,” says Jaclyn Cardin, Organic Valley chief brand officer. “And so, we couldn't be more excited to bring our new Family First milk to store shelves nationwide and offer families a great-tasting option from our co-op that provides quality nutrition for the whole family.” Family First milk is available in Whole and Reduced Fat 2%, 64-ounce cartons for a suggested retail price of $5.99-$6.99.

PAYING HOMAGE TO SNOOP CEREAL

Sweetkiwi, Washington, D.C., has joined forces with Hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg and Master P’s Broadus Foods to release a line of Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars made with frozen whipped Greek yogurt and packed with functional nutrients like protein, probiotics, fiber and immune-boosting superfoods. The collaboration introduces three flavors, each paying homage to the popular Snoop Cereal varieties: Graham Honeyz, Cinnamon Toasteez Crunch and Fruity Hoops. “Working with Broadus Foods has been a remarkable journey. These Frozen Greek Yogurt Bars represent a fusion of flavors and a symbol of our shared values in offering our customers healthier, innovative food choices,” said Ehime Eigbe, Founder and CEO of Sweetkiwi.

Clermont, Fla.-based Uncle Matt’s Organic launched a new wellness shot, Uncle Matt’s Organic Ultimate Athlete Pre-Workout Shot, which is aimed to boost athletic performance, hydrate and reduce oxidative stress — all in one gulp, the company says. The new 3.5-ounce, kid-friendly pouches will be available in three delicious, organic fruit and vegetable flavors: Strawberry Banana, Blueberry Spinach and Raspberry Rhubarb. Whole Foods also plans to expand the availability of Nancy’s Organic Probiotic Greek Yogurt in whole milk and nonfat, as well as Organic Probiotic Whole Milk Kefir in Blueberry, Plain and Vanilla. The convenient, kid-friendly Organic Whole Milk Yogurt Pouches are made with organic pasture-raised milk, real organic fruits and vegetables, are non-GMO Project Verified, and offer five strains of live cultures, including probiotics and prebiotics.
