FREEDOM IN SIMPLICITY
New York-based siggi’s, a brand of French dairy company Lactalis, introduced new Protein Packs, available in two flavors: Blueberry Pomegranate and Strawberry Acai. The Protein Packs contain 11 grams of protein per pack and are crafted with real fruit and no artificial flavors or added sweeteners, the company says. Additionally, the convenient, mess-free packaging makes them an ideal option for on-the-go nutrition. While siggi’s is made in a similar way to yogurt, the recipe requires approximately four times the milk, according to the company. The straining process creates an end product that has a thicker, creamier texture than other yogurts, despite the nonfat nature of the milk. Available at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide, siggi’s Protein Packs retail for $1.99 per 4.5-ounce pouch.
