Prairie Farms launches 18 new small-batch products; Clio Snacks crafts granola and yogurt parfait bars; General Mills adds high-protein yogurt to its :Ratio brand.

CREAM CHEESE SPREADS, ICE CREAM PINTS

Edwardsville, Ill.-based Prairie Farms Dairy says it launched 18 new products, including small-batch cream cheese spreads in 3.5-ounce cups and small-batch ice cream pints. The small-batch cream cheese spreads are made with award-winning Neufchatel cheese. The cups are available in six flavors: Garden Veggie, Honey Vanilla, Onion & Chive, Plain, Sea Salt Caramel and Strawberry. Prairie Farms small-batch ice cream pints are available in seven classic flavors: Belgian Chocolate, Black Walnut, Butter Pecan, Cookies ‘N Cream, Homemade Vanilla, Vanilla, Vanilla Bean. They also come in five custom combos: Caramel Praline Pecan, Savannah Fudge Pie, Salted Caramel Toffee Brittle, Strawberry Shortcake and The Hill.

GRANOLA & YOGURT PARFAIT BARS

Clio Snacks, Piscataway, N.J., introduced Clio granola and yogurt parfait bars. Combining Clio's signature creamy Greek yogurt with a layer of crunchy granola, Clio transforms the traditional parfait into a craveable, ready-made refrigerated bar perfect for a convenient breakfast, satiating snack or better-for-you dessert, the company says. The bars are available in two flavors — Strawberry wrapped in yogurt and Coconut wrapped in chocolate — and are packed with 10 grams of protein. The offerings are currently available for purchase at Whole Foods Market stores nationwide and on www.cliosnacks.com, with plans to expand distribution in June 2021.

KETO-FRIENDLY FROZEN CUSTARD

Austin, Texas-based Mammoth Creameries says it released three new flavors of its keto-friendly, diabetic-conscious frozen custard, including Butter Coffee, Strawberry and Butter Pecan. The flavors are now available for delivery nationwide and can be found in the freezer aisle at Harmon’s Grocery stores. Mammoth Creameries says its frozen custard is made with a sweet cream base of 100% grass-fed butter, high-quality heavy cream and egg yolks to offer a nutritious and delicious ice cream option for anyone who is keeping an eye on sugar intake.

ORGANIC MILK FOR KIDS

Atlanta-based kids beverage company Good2grow debuted Good2grow organic milk. The new product is available in single-serve 8-ounce bottles — complete with re-closable tops to avoid spills on the go. Good2grow says the new product appeals to kids with its two kid-friendly flavors — Strawberry and Chocolate — and hundreds of kid-requested character tops. It also provides a slew of nutritional benefits, including being a good source of vitamins A and D and calcium and containing 8 grams of protein per serving. While Good2grow has long been at the forefront of the better-for-you kids’ beverage space, this introduction marks the company’s first foray into the dairy space and the first “ready-to-go” milk for kids ages 2 to 5.

SNACKABLE FROZEN GREEK YOGURT

Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt, Boulder, Colo., says it launched its first snackable offering — Yasso Poppables. The snacks are creamy frozen Greek yogurt bites covered in a chocolatey coating and sprinkled with quinoa crunch. The better-for-you innovation is available in four flavors: Coffee, Sea Salt Caramel, Vanilla Bean and Mint. At just 60 calories each, Yasso Poppables are a round, bite-sized better-for-you snack. Yasso Poppables are available at Wegmans, Kroger, Jewel-Osco, Hannaford and Harris Teeter stores; they have a suggested retail price of $6.49 for a six-pack.

CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SHAKE

Premier Protein, a brand of Kings Mountain, N.C.-based Premier Nutrition Company LLC, says it added a new flavor to its Premier Protein 30-gram high-protein shakes line: Chocolate Peanut Butter. Each shake has 30 grams of protein, 160 calories, 1 gram of sugar and 24 vitamins and minerals. The shake also helps support a healthy immune system, thanks to antioxidants vitamins C and E; it is low in fat, keto-friendly and gluten-free.

HIGH-PROTEIN YOGURT

Minneapolis-based General Mills released :Ratio Protein, a high-protein dairy snack line to help consumers as they kick-start their health routines. According to the company, the single-serve offering has the most protein in the yogurt aisle; it contains 25 grams of protein and just 3 grams of sugar. The introduction of :Ratio Protein expands the :Ratio product line. General Mills says the brand delivers products with great taste to help consumers achieve wellness goals. This convenient new snack option is offered in five flavors, including Strawberry, Vanilla, Blueberry, Coconut and Key Lime.

MEDITERRANEAN-INSPIRED DIPS

Delphos, Ohio-based Lakeview Farms LLC released a new line of dairy-based dips — Tribe Mezze dips. The collection of Mediterranean-inspired dips pairs perfectly with vegetables, crackers, pita bread and other appetizer or snacking items, Lakeview Farms says. Tribe Mezze Dips are kosher-certified, contain no artificial preservatives and are gluten-free. The line’s varieties consist of three feta-based dips, including Red Pepper, Roasted Garlic and Spicy Tomato; Original Style tzatziki dip made with Greek yogurt, cucumber and dill; and Mediterranean Layered dip made with hummus, tzatziki, red peppers and herbs. The dips have a suggested retail price of $4.99-$5.99.

COOKIE DOUGH ICE CREAM CAKE

Rich Products Corp., Buffalo, N.Y., says it debuted Carvel Cookie Dough ice cream cake. The offering features plentiful chunks of cookie dough pieces, creamy vanilla and chocolate ice cream, and classic Carvel chocolate crunchies — finished with whipped icing and a chocolatey drizzle. This is the latest dessert from Rich Products’ I Love Ice Cream Cakes line; it was created in partnership with Farmington, Conn.-based Carvel. The cake serves six and has a suggested retail price of $14.99. Shoppers can find the dessert at major grocery retailers, including Food Lion, Shop Rite, Publix, Wegmans, Stop & Shop, Giant, Kroger and other participating locations.
